ITAR is born from the encounter between two friends with peculiar knowledge; one Italian (IT), a passionate specialist in wines, liquors and gourmet gastronomy, a good connoisseur of cigars and endowed with a refined palate; the other, an Argentinean (AR) expert in cigars throughout the world, with a distinguished feel for the exquisite and exclusive things of life.

As we coincided in a foreign country away from both of our cultures, we were influenced by the native flavors of Costa Rica. Only after an extensive search of selected raw materials and complex agreements with the most prestigious producer of premium rums in the country, we were able to capture this unique product for the world.
